It's your opportunity to do something amazing in 2013 and join the Trusts Ghana squad

Following the success of our 2011 visit to Kenya in East Africa, ITFC Charitable Trust and African Adventures are delighted to launch our 2013 volunteering trip to Ghana in West Africa and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us!

From Monday 18th – Friday 29th November 2013, a group of ITFC Charitable Trust supporters will visit a rural area of the country’s Volta Region to spend 10 days volunteering with two NGO schools.

The ITFC Charitable Trust is looking to recruit 30 volunteers to participate in an incredible 10-day travel experience. From football and multi-sports coaching to teaching in schools and community work with children, there is a host of initiatives to support.

In addition, the trip will support the 2013 African Adventures Community Development Pledge, which contributes humanitarian and resource support to each and every project we work with.

Kenya 2011

April 2011 saw ITFC Charitable Trust team up with African Adventures to help change the lives of people living both in Suffolk and Kenya

African Adventures is one of the UK’s leading ethical travel companies, working alongside organisations to enrich the lives of people in this country and in Kenya. The project offers UK volunteers the chance to travel to Kenya and help local communities, experience a completely different culture and helping to make a difference the lives of those less fortunate than us.

The great thing about this initiative is that it’s not just African communities that benefit from this scheme, but our own community too, with just over a quarter of the money raised by the volunteers going to the Trust.
