Female Football

Girls and Women’s football is becoming increasingly popular with over 150,000 females playing affiliated football in England and over one million girls playing some form of football.

At the Trust we have supported the development of girls’ and women’s football for several years from grassroots level through to their Girls’ Centre of Excellence.

Holiday Soccer Courses

ITFC Charitable Trust pride themselves on being able to offer people living in Suffolk the opportunity to play football regardless of their age, ability, background or gender. One of the many football courses offered by the Trust during the school holidays is designed specifically for girls between the ages of 5 and 12, who are just beginning to develop an interest in the sport. This course aims to give those involved the chance to test their ability and enjoy playing football with other girls their age as well as finding out whether they would like to start playing football on a regular basis and perhaps become part of a team.

Women's Football

Once those involved in a Centre of Excellence programme graduate at the age of 16, players have the opportunity to progress into our women’s football team. The ladies compete on a regular basis in the Women’s South East Combination League, playing the likes of Tottenham, MK Dons and Norwich City.

The team play their home games on Sundays at Whitton United FC, King George V Playing Field. Kick-off time is usually 2:00pm.
