Matchday Soccer Experience
Being located at Portman Road puts the Trust in prime position to make the most of every home matchday. We offer exclusive matchday experiences for young people between the ages of 5 and 16.
Matchdays: 12pm - 3pm: From £20 per child
Kicking-off at 12pm on a matchday young Town fans get the chance to enjoy an hour and a half of football coaching on the practice pitch at Portman Road lead by our FA qualified coaches. The experience is then rounded off with the chance to perform in the ‘Guard of Honour’ as the players take to the pitch ahead of kick-off.
Guard of Honour Package:
- A fun 90 Minute football coaching session outside on the ITFC fieldturf.
- One complimentary pitch side photo of each child.
- The chance to perform in the Guard of Honour as the players take to the pitch.
- A complimentary matchday programme, a mention of your child's name will also be included in the programme for bookings made early.
For an additional cost of £5 those on the experience will get to take part in an exclusive behind the scenes matchday tour of the Portman Road Stadium, and for an extra £20 1 Adult & 1 child's matchday ticket will be included in the package. (Terms and Conditions apply).
For Group bookings of 8 or more, other matches maybe available on request
MATCH DAY TEAM BUILDING:
ITFC Charitable Trust are pleased to be able to offer all grassroots youth clubs a unique pre-match training and teambuilding opportunity.
We can provide training sessions on the Field Turf (training pitch) beside Portman Road on a Match Day and include match tickets so that the children and any accompanying adults can watch the first team match together after their training session.
Team Building events take place from 1.30pm-2.30pm, prices for this package are just £8 for players (U16), and accompanying adults are priced at £20.
Players must be accompanied by adults to a minimum ratio of 1:4. (This means 12 children must be accompanied by 3 adults, the 13th child would require a 4th adult.)

Please note that matchday packages are parent free zones and that times and dates of games are subject to change either through postponements caused by poor weather or changes brought around by TV commitments.
