Our Patron - Matt Holland

When I joined Ipswich Town Football Club in 1997 I couldn’t imagine the huge impact that this great club would have on my life. Play-off heartbreak, Play-off glory and European football are never to be forgotten moments from my career. As is the great relationship I had with the supporters who’d flock to Portman Road each week.

I’m honoured to have been asked to follow in the footsteps of the one and only Sir Bobby Robson as patron of the ITFC Charitable Trust. It’s a charity which through football, inspires, motivates and improves the education and life chances of young people in Suffolk who are in need. So much great work is being done, but like any any charity it needs to raise money to survive and prosper.
