about

We don’t expect to receive huge adulation for the work we do – that’s not the reason for our work, however when we do get recognised by our peers and other organisation it is incredibly rewarding for all of us who work at the Trust. Last year saw the Charity pick up several awards for a range of their initiatives including the ‘Not for Profit’ award at the 2010 Anglian Business Awards. The Trust were selected ahead of two other short-listed charities in this hotly contested category which included East Anglia Children’s Hospice (EACH) and Menta.

The judges paid tribute to the dedication of ITFC Charitable Trust staff and the wide-ranging work that has positively changed the lives of so many people in Suffolk as a result of the Trust's activities.

Earlier in 2010, The Trust were given ‘Highly Commended’ at the High Sheriff Award Ceremony which recognised the positive contribution the Trust had made in the local community.

The Trust’s Healthy Lifestyle Programme was also recognised for its success and was given a Gold Standard Award by Healthy Ambitions Suffolk, whilst the fifth group of young people to complete the Trust’s Team Programme, picked up the ‘Community Impact’ award at the prestigious East of England Prince’s Trust Celebrate Success Awards Evening in December 2010.

We very much hope that our work continues to help to improve and change the lives of people living in Suffolk.
